We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Detailer to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Detailer, you will be working closely with mechanical engineers to create, modify, and finalize precise design drawings and documentation for our evaporator systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and have extensive experience in detailing mechanical designs to ensure they are optimized for manufacturability and meet high-quality standards. This full-time, on-site position is based in Hooksett, NH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation for new and existing evaporator designs.
- Collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into precise, manufacturable mechanical designs.
- Focus on detailing for manufacturing, ensuring all parts and assemblies are production-ready and optimized for efficient fabrication.
- Perform tolerance analysis to ensure parts fit and function correctly within assemblies.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support production and inventory management.
- Review and improve existing designs for increased manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout a project lifecycle.
- Identify potential design issues early and propose feasible solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer, preferably in industrial equipment or manufacturing.
- Strong in Autodesk Inventor.
- Exceptional detailing skills, with a focus on manufacturability and a thorough understanding of mechanical design standards.
- Familiarity with mechanical tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, clear, and concise drawings.
